Vietnam has finally begun to recover from the turmoils of their war-torn history. So when traveling to Vietnam, don't be afraid to learn about their past and embrace their present.

Visas:
To enter Vietnam, you need to have a visa. This cannot be obtained upon arrival, so be sure to resolve this issue before attempting to enter the country.

Crossing the street:
While this may seem like an easy task, it is not when you are in Vietnam. The best way to cross the street, is to wait for an opening amidst the plathora of motorbikes, and then cross as though there are no motorbikes coming at you. Motorbikers drive less than 40km/hr and are able to easily avoid pedestrians, however if you stop mid-stride, it may throw off the driver, so you must cross the street almost as though you were blindfolded.

Tailored Suits:
In Vietnam, you can literally have anything you want turned into a reality, whether that may be a tailored suit or a pair of boots. However, when it comes to having things made, don't barter too much, the more you pay, the better the quality of the garment will be.
